This post is all about Brownies With White Chocolate Chips and Espresso | Box to Homemade.
Ingredients
1x box chocolate brownie mix (I used Betty Crocker)
1 cup of white chocolate chips
A tablespoon of espresso powder
Directions
1. Make the box mix brownies according to directions in an 8×8 oven tin (if the box says to use vegetable oil, use butter or olive oil instead). Add 1x cup of white chocolate chips and a tablespoon of espresso powder to your mixture.
2. Add an extra egg yolk and a splash of vanilla essence to enhance the flavor and texture of the box brownie mix.
3. Bake the brownies for roughly 10 minutes less than suggested for a gooey brownie center. Depending on your oven, I suggest keeping an eye on the brownies as they bake so you don’t over bake or really under bake them.
4. Remove from oven when ready and leave in the pan to cool. This will take about 2 hours. Then put the brownies, still in the pan, in the fridge for approx. 1hour before cutting. Cut with a plastic knife. Wipe off the knife every time you cut a slice of brownie.
