Here are 5 myths about healthy eating that will set you free. (You’re welcome, girl.)
This post is all about 5 Crazy Myths About Heathy Eating
1. “You Have To Eat Clean All The Time”
No, you don’t.
It’s about moderation. It’s about eating intuitively (listening to what your body wants and needs). Clean eating is a fad and it’s a super unhealthy piece of vocabulary to judge your eating habits by.
2. “Just Focus On Calories”
Again, no you don’t. (Warning: focusing on calories is a great way to develop an eating disorder.)
We all need a different amount of calories at different times of the month, the day, the time of our lives. Monitoring calories is a terrible way to monitor your eating habits.
3. “You Need To Give Up Sugar”
If this myth was true, we’d all have no reason to live at WWB.
So don’t get lost in the sauce. You can still enjoy chocolate cake and live a healthy lifestyle because chances are, you’re not eating chocolate cake for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week for years at a time.
4. “You Can’t Eat Out”
Wow, another wrong one there!
Eat out. Again, it’s about finding a balance and eating intuitively. Also, there are plenty of restaurants where there are very nutritional options that also taste fabulous.
5. “You Need To Go Vegan or Keto…”
We’re calling B.S. on this one too!!
YOU DO NOT NEED TO ADOPT THE LATEST “STYLE” OF EATING.
And guess what? Your body might not thrive living a paleo, vegan, veggie or keto lifestyle. Again, we’ll say it again: our bodies are fabulously unique and need different sources of nutrition.
What works for someone on Instagram advocating for veganism might not work for you.
