I was born and raised in Scotland. In 2016, I moved to the US. So, it’s safe to say, I’ve taken a few plane rides over the last six years.
Of course, travel wasn’t much of an option for any of us in 2020. I didn’t go back to Scotland, or see any of my family, for over two years. It was hard but gosh… I appreciate the ability to go home more than ever now.
This morning when I woke up, I had been dreaming of Scotland. I had been dreaming of the crisp autumn mornings and the Scottish morning routine in October: getting warm, drinking ice cold water from an almost frozen tap, eating porridge, and getting warm again.
After I woke up, I took note of my dream in my priority list. I wrote, figure out a way home.
Love,
